Requests for vital records can be made at the Brownville Town Office during office hours.

Licenses & Registrations

Intention of Marriage Application

Marriage licenses are $40 each and are issued after the Intention of Marriage application is completed. Once the marriage license is completed by an Officiant (solemnizing the marriage), the license is returned to our office and kept on file, forever, to issue certified copies. Any person wishing to obtain a marriage license whose previous marriage ended by divorce must produce a certified divorce decree issued by the court where the divorce was granted.

Dog Licenses

Dog licenses are only available at the Town Office. Year starts October 15th and needs to be done by January 30th to avoid a late fee. Proof of Current Rabies Vaccination and Spay/Neuter Certificate required.

$11.00 Not Spayed or Neutered Dog
$25.00 Late Fee applied February 1st for any unregistered dogs per State Law, in addition to license fee per dog.
